BarnBridge is an innovative DeFi protocol that allows users to hedge against interest rate fluctuations through interest rate swaps.

Founded in 2019 by Troy Murray and Tyler Ward, BarnBridge is a cutting-edge, open-source DeFi protocol built on Ethereum, specializing in risk tokenization. It empowers users to manage interest rate volatility in decentralized finance platforms like Compound and Aave by facilitating the exchange of variable yields for fixed rates, which can then be used for borrowing. Governance of the protocol is managed by the BarnBridge DAO, utilizing the native ERC-20 token, BOND. In September 2022, BarnBridge launched its second iteration, BarnBridge v2, enhancing its functionality and user experience.
