Statement Regarding Crossmint Checkout

September 29, 2026

As of September 29, 2026, Crossmint has not received any subpoena, civil investigative demand, inquiry letter, or other formal or informal notice from the New York Attorney General's office indicating that Crossmint or its products are under investigation, review, or inquiry. Crossmint takes regulatory and payment-network compliance seriously and reviews any questions raised with the relevant partners.

Crossmint offers infrastructure for onchain commerce, supporting a range of goods represented onchain, from stablecoins to digital collectibles, each with specific products, flows, and compliance requirements. We deliver the best products we can within the guidance issued by regulators and the card networks. Where that guidance is updated, our procedures are updated with it.

Update to the statement on September 29, 2026: Visa has not made a public statement or confirmed any change to how they treat merchant codes. Crossmint maintains good standing with Visa, Mastercard, and all of our payment and card network partners. Our position and procedures on how we process digital goods through our platform has not changed. As stated previously, if that guidance is updated, our procedures will be updated with it.
